Hey, I'm Sharon. EIGHTEEN; SENIOR '12. Pisces. Born and raised in NYC. I adore Taylor Swift. I like a little bit of everything. I post what I want and I say what I want, that includes vulgar language.
Most importantly, I DO NOT do the whole "follow for a follow" thing. I'll ONLY follow you if I find your blog interesting.
If you have any questions, concerns, or comments, my ask is always available.
Oh yeah, by the way, I DO NOT own the photos, paintings, or any other visuals posted on my blog unless it's stated otherwise.

If you’ve ever bothered to read my rants about my high school, you would know that I hate that place. Hate, not dislike. Why? Because it’s full of a bunch of assholes.
THE POINT IS (tl;dr):
Mr. José… I see him almost everyday when I’m entering and leaving the building. I never knew his name and he never knew, and still doesn’t know, mine. I haven’t spoken more than five words with this man in my four years at this school. I acknowledge his presence, but I never show it. He had no reason to treat me with kindness, but he did anyway. He lent me his umbrella at his own risk. I said I would return it to him, and with no hesitation, he took my words for it. Yes, it’s a simple, cheap umbrella, but the point is that he let me, a stranger, borrow it when he could’ve simply ignored me and walked away, as did the other 20 people that I saw entering and leaving the building while waiting for the rain to stop. José, will be the only reason why I will go to school the next and last 11 days without dreading it. Thank you for helping me find the humanity that I saw the first week of school… four years ago.

“I’ve apparently been the victim of growing up, which apparently happens to all of us at one point or another. It’s been going on for quite some time now, without me knowing it. I’ve found that growing up can mean a lot of things. For me, it doesn’t mean I should become somebody completely new and stop loving the things I used to love. It means I’ve just added more things to my list.”
